\\ ABOUT

TribFest, Ireland's biggest tribute band music festival, is back for a fourth year in August 2024 after headline outings in 2019, 2022, and 2023. TribFest 2024 will showcase National and International Tribute acts, covering songs from some of the greatest bands in history. Sing along to your favourite tunes from the 50s to the 00s! You will be exposed to some of the best musicians and performers on the scene today, while celebrating the music of your favourite bands with Hit after Hit!

New for 2024 is our Friday night "Rock Night" - on the opening night, brace yourself for a journey through the ages of rock. From the electrifying guitar riffs of AC/DC to the anthems of Bon Jovi and the rebellious spirit of Guns n Roses, Thin Lizzy, and Metallica, these top tribute bands will transport you back in time! The stage will be alive with the energy and passion that defined an era, uniting fans of classic rock for a night of headbanging and nostalgia.

North Kildare Club in Maynooth shall again serve as the perfect venue for this celebration of music. In 2024 we are bringing back our TribFest Stretch Tent - covered against all weather! All tribute performances will be held on the main Tribfest stage underneath our giant stretch tent. From early in the evening until late at night on both days you will hear and experience the best tribute bands on today’s scene. The festival features a fantastic food stalls and multiple bars, including a Gin, Cocktail and Wine bar as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Please come join us and celebrate some of the greatest music over the weekend of Friday August 2nd, through Sunday August 4th 2024.

 

This event is already a firm favourite on the Kildare social calendar and is sure to be a massive hit! We’ve got all your favourite music covered!

\\ VENUE

TribFest will take place on the grounds of North Kildare Club, Kilcock Road, between the towns of Maynooth and Kilcock, Co. Kildare. The Eircode for the club is W23 NR2F.

\\ PARKING

Parking will be available on the grounds of North Kildare Club. The carpark is right beside the festival grounds. Standard car parking is free. Campervan/caravan parking will require a camping pass (will be available for sale at a later date).

Parking will open at the same time as the festival gates, at 5pm on Friday August 2nd 2024.

\\ PUBLIC TRANSPORT

By train: Maynooth is serviced by the Irish Rail Dublin Connolly - Sligo service.

By bus: Maynooth is serviced by the Dublin Bus 66, 66,  66x, and 67n services.

The Bus Éireann 115 route Dublin-Mullingar goes via the Kilcock Road. The closest stop to North Kildare Club is Kilcock (Millerstown), which is a 10-15min walk away from the entrance to North Kildare Club.

From midnight, the Dublin Bus C6 route goes from Maynooth Station to Ringsend Road - info about that route can be found at this link.

\\ SHUTTLE BUS - the below information is still to be confirmed for 2024

Beginning from 12am (midnight) each night, there will be shuttle bus services operating from the TribFest grounds  (North Kildare Club) to Maynooth, Celbridge*, Kilcock, and Enfield. There will be a cost of €5 for this shuttle service.

*Passengers for Celbridge can use the first Maynooth-bound bus at 12am to link in with the C6 Maynooth - Ringsend bus, operated by Dublin Bus. We also have a bus to Kilcock beginning at 12am, and another to Enfield also at 12am midnight on both nights.

\\ TICKETING

There are single-day, two-day, and three-day (weekend) tickets available for TribFest 2024.

Single-day tickets are only valid for the day written on the ticket, i.e. one of Friday 2nd August, Saturday 3rd August, or Sunday 4th August 2024.

Tw-day tickets are only valid for the days written on the ticket, i.e. two of Friday 2nd August, Saturday 3rd August, or Sunday 4th August 2024.

Weekend Tickets are valid for Friday 2nd August, Saturday 3rd August and Sunday 4th August 2024.

Tickets are available online on ticketstop.ie and from our authorised dealers Ray Crofton Motors (physical tickets only), and Centra Kilcock - Browne's Service Station (physical tickets only). If purchased online, tickets will be emailed to the email address given by the buyer and will be exchanged at the gates of the festival for a festival wristband. Physical tickets will also be exchanged at the gates of the festival for a festival wristband.

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred in any way unless the event has been cancelled or rescheduled.

Tickets are the same price for each attendee regardless of age, with the exception of:

  1. Children aged 12 or younger

  2. Carers accompanying a ticket-holder (see below)

 

\\ CHILDRENS TICKETS

Children aged 12 or younger may attend TribFest free of charge on condition that they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. Tickets will be converted to wristbands at the gate of the festival, and must be worn by all patrons for the full duration of the festival.

\\ CARERS TICKETS

For every ticketed patron who requires a carer, we can offer a staff wristband for the carer at point of entry free of charge. If possible, please let us know in advance via our email address info@tribfest.ie if you require a carers wristband (for wristband planning purposes).

 

\\ TICKET AVAILABILITY ON SITE

With the exception of the festival selling out, there will be a box office on-site with tickets on sale. To guarantee entry, we do not recommend waiting to purchase until the day of the festival. To ensure a ticket, we recommend to purchase your ticket in advance of the festival.

\\ CAMPING

While we cannot accommodate tent camping, campervans will be welcome at TribFest for an additional fee.

Camping Permits are available to purchase for a single day, or for the weekend:

Single-Day camping tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Single-Day Camping Permit.

Two-Day camping tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Two-Day Camping Permit.

Weekend camping tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Weekend Camping Permit.

IMPORTANT: Purchasing a Camping Ticket does not give you access to the festival grounds - the Camping Ticket is not a Festival Ticket. All attendees at TribFest must have a valid festival ticket. The Camping Ticket is an additional requirement for those who wish to bring their campervan on the North Kildare Club grounds. 


Camper Parking will open at the same time as the festival gates, at 5pm on Friday August 2nd 2024.

 

\\ CAMPING FACILITIES

North Kildare Club has fresh water available, toilets in the clubhouse, bins/waste facilities, and security will be in place throughout the festival and throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, into Monday morning. Showers will be available outside of festival hours, i.e. they will unavailable after 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

 

\\ BRINGING YOUR DOG

Dogs are not allowed onto the festival grounds. Dogs are permitted to be in campervans/caravans in the carpark if you have a campervan pass, but must be locked in securely in the campervan/caravan when patrons are in the festival grounds.

 

\\ WRISTBANDS

Tickets will be exchanged for wristbands upon entry at the festival. Wristbands are valid for both nights of the festival and must remain untampered. 

 

IMPORTANT: If a wristband is damaged or broken it will be deemed to be invalid and re-entry to the festival will be denied.

 

\\ SECURITY

A full security team will be in place at the festival. We ensure a safe environment for the attendees of TribFest. Members of the security team will have full authority to remove any attendee who they deem unfit to enter and/or remain on site. There will be a security checkpoint at the entry point to the festival where attendees will be checked for forbidden items.

\\ ENTRY

The entry point to the festival is the main entrance to North Kildare Club.

Your ticket does not guarantee entry to the festival. If a member of the security team deems a ticket holder to be unfit to enter, entry to the festival will be denied. The right to refuse admission is reserved.

PLEASE NOTE: Persons aged under 18 (i.e. aged 17 or younger) with valid tickets will be allowed entry to TribFest ONLY when accompanied by an adult (18+). Access to the grounds without an accompanying adult is not permitted.​​

\\ VENDORS

There will be a selection of vendors with stalls on site offering a range of refreshments, food, drinks, and snacks.

 

\\ ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

There will be a bar on-site. ID will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages. The consumption of alcoholic drinks not sold on-site is not permitted. This also applies to the carpark area. Attendees who attempt to bring in their own alcoholic drinks will have them confiscated at the point of entry. 

\\ INFORMATION POINT

There will be an information point on-site to aid festival attendees with queries. This point will also operate as a Lost & Found.

\\ SEATING

Guests are welcome to bring their own camping chairs to the festival. There will also be a limited amount of seating provided by the festival available in the festival grounds.

\\ ACCESSIBILITY

TribFest & North Kildare Club are making every effort to ensure that attendees of reduced and/or limited mobility, as well as those with additional needs, can enjoy the festival to the fullest extent.

There will be parking spaces available for those with additional needs on a first-come-first-served basis. The festival is wheelchair-accessible, with the carpark, entrance to the grounds, and the grounds themselves all being on flat ground. We will also have a have a dedicated area for disabled attendees which will be raised and railed.

\\ ENVIRONMENT

TribFest is committed to being environmentally-conscious in all matters relating to the festival.

 

 

\\ THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED

The festival has a zero tolerance policy towards the consumption of alcohol not purchased on-site, any and all other illegal materials and substances. Attendees found in violation of this policy will be removed from the grounds of the festival immediately.
